4 Day/ 3 Night Buhoma Lodge – Uganda
A fly-in safari from Entebbe, visiting the Mountain Gorillas in Uganda and staying in our luxury lodge, Buhoma. All meals on safari are provided and guests are hosted by our Manager at the lodge.
DAY 1: DEPART ENTEBBE
Transfer from your hotel in Entebbe to airport for morning flight from Entebbe to Kihihi. Transfer to Buhoma Lodge, Bwindi Approximate Travel Times: Flying 2 hours; Overnight Buhoma Lodge (L, D)
DAY 2: GORILLA TREKKING
After enjoying an early breakfast, you set off gorilla tracking. Trekking through the steep, densely forested hills and then finally coming across the gorillas camouflaged in the vegetation is an inspiring and privileged moment. Tracking in the Bwindi forest
requires stamina and can often take most of the day.

Either go gorilla tracking again – additional permits required, subject to availability- or opt for one of the other, gentler but equally rewarding alternatives available…..
BWINDI BUHOMA COMMUNITY VILLAGE WALK AND BATWA INTERACTION
The Buhoma Village Tourist Walk opened in Dec 2012, and was designed by MBIFCT, in collaboration with Uganda Wildlife Authority, to increase the variety of tourism activities offered at Bwindi National Park and to provide members of the local community with an alternative source of direct income linked to conservation. The Village Walk is a concrete example of a community-based tourism enterprise where local people have participated in the design of its activities, invested resources in its development and benefit from its returns. At the same time, the local people have an incentive to conserve the natural and cultural resources on which income generation depends.
BWINDI FOREST WALK
This can be undertaken with a Uganda Wildlife Authority guide to allow you to hike along the trails and enjoy the forest flora, fauna and wildlife such as monkeys at close proximity. A popular choice is the 3-4 hour hike to the waterfall.

Return scheduled flight from Kihihi to Entebbe. Transfer to hotel or international airport (Entebbe) included
