KAFUNTA RIVER LODGE
Kafunta River Lodge is a classic safari lodge nestled on the banks of the Luangwa River and adjacent to the South Luangwa National Park. The lodge offers 8 ensuite chalets and 2 luxury ensuite suites, a swimming pool and a natural hot spring tub overlooking the seasonal floodplain which attracts an array of animals throughout the day and night. Excellent game viewing is guaranteed as well as superb birding and night drives in open safari vehicles offer opportunities to observe shy nocturnal creatures. Kafunta Safaris also operate the seasonal Island Bush Camp. This is a small, personalised camp, located in a remote area in the very South of the National Park and a great place to explore the unspoilt wilderness on foot or by open safari vehicle.  Qualified and experienced local guides accompany you throughout the safari.
